Connect Mentorship Opportunities
Accelerator Mentorship
Join a team of mentors dedicated to the companies selected for our accelerator programs in Philadelphia
(LIFT Labs) and Atlanta (SportsTech).
Lead mentors are paired with a startup founder for the three-month accelerator program.
A continued relationship with high-potential startups after the program concludes is encouraged.
- Senior Director and above with ownership over a product or business area, with ability to offer advice and potentially make decisions about piloting or testing.
- Lead mentors must be willing to meet regularly with a founder through the duration of the program.
- Channel your expertise to help startups solve problems, grow, and foster rapid breakthroughs.
- Experience working at or with startups is preferred, but not essential.
- Complete this form to be added to the CONNECT mentor pool.
- Startup Engagement will conduct regular check ins and offer support as needed.
- If your background aligns with the needs of our accelerator class, we’ll reach out to see if you’re interested in being a mentor for any of the companies in the cohort.
Strategic Connections
Employees with relevant expertise and experience are connected to startup founders in our larger network to offer guidance with a particular challenge in a short-term mentorship engagement (e.g. customer acquisition, team management, positioning in the marketing). If it’s a good fit for the employee and the startup, a continued relationship is encouraged, but not required.

- Have a clear perspective on what you bring to the table. What’s your superpower and how can you help the startups in our network?
- Be willing to match with startups on a year-round basis (1-4 startups a year).
- Complete this form to be added to the CONNECT mentor pool.
- Review our database of startups seeking strategic connections and make your own match OR wait until we match you with a startup whose need aligns with your expertise.
- We’ll share background and context then connect you with the startup.
- LIFT Labs will conduct regular check ins and offer support as needed.
