A software product launch today requires lots of testing, including hours and hours of time-intensive, manual testing that can be more prone to small errors and quality disruptions.
The company testRigor aims to address this problem by utilizing test automation.
The AI-powered end-to-end software test automation tool lets teams draft user interface tests in plain English where coding is typically required. testRigor automates the steps a QA tester would take, allowing for consistent repeated executions.
According to testRigor, their platform enables companies to build test automation 100x faster while spending 200x less time on normal maintenance. As a result, it can help businesses seamlessly and efficiently test and ship products quicker, ensure they’re high-quality, and save time and money.
“We enable companies to move faster without breaking things,” said Artem Golubev, co-founder and CEO of testRigor. “With our tool, companies can seamlessly integrate new features and make software adjustments, helping to ensure that core functionalities continue to operate flawlessly.”

Telecom company IDT used testRigor to increase its test automation coverage to 91% in less than a year, up from approximately 33%. The company also achieved a 90% decrease in bugs, $2 million in saved automation engineering costs, and allowed interns with no prior coding experience to outpace experienced automation engineers in automated test case development.
Another client, e-commerce company Wine Access, tripled its automated test cases and cut its QA budget by 62%. The company projects over $1 million in savings over the next five years by using testRigor.
“Traditional automation methods are typically not scalable,” said Golubev. “We empower teams to help reduce time spent on testing while simultaneously achieving superior outcomes.”
Showcasing AI Potential: testRigor’s Experience at LIFT Labs
testRigor is one of nine companies that participated in the LIFT Labs AI Accelerator in the spring of 2024. The program facilitates connections between startups and Comcast and its businesses and leaders to explore strategically aligned partnerships. Being able to showcase his technology to tech leaders across the enterprise was a thrill for Golubev.
“LIFT Labs provided a unique opportunity to demonstrate our technology directly to leaders at Comcast, offering advantages not typically available through other accelerators,” Golubev shared.
Solving the Automation Puzzle
Golubev and Enrique Biancato founded testRigor after spending years working at tech companies. They couldn’t help but observe that many testing automation efforts could be improved.
“With the vast amount of necessary testing, manual methods can be challenging to execute perfectly every time,,” said Golubev.
The company secured a $4 million seed investment in 2021 and has since attracted big-name clients. Clients use testRigor to create a variety of tests including regression, API, SMS, and Captcha testing. Prioritizing data security, testRigor is SOC 2 Type 2 compliant and employs advanced encryption to help protect client data. The team at testRigor hopes they are poised for growth, with 53% of digital enterprise leaders identifying the shift from manual to automated testing as one of their top priorities.
“I think within the next several years AI-powered tests will become more common,” he predicted. “Our goal is to be positioned as a leader in AI-based test automation, poised to harness a new level of efficiency for businesses everywhere.”
Looking ahead, Golubev envisions testRigor becoming the definitive solution for AI-based test automation.
